What jobs are available at CTA? We are currently hiring Direct Support staff! Employees are involved in providing supports to people with a variety of skills in order to increase their personal independence. This encompasses supporting people with community activities, independent living, and self-help skills. Tasks may include assisting an individual in riding the bus, performing household chores, and taking care of personal hygiene needs such as bathing or toileting (observing privacy issues). What are the Job Requirements?
We look for positive, enthusiastic people to be members of our team. CTA requires all employees to be at least 18 years old, satisfactorily pass a test for Tuberculosis, and clear a criminal background screening.
Do I need prior certifications or training?
CTA provides paid training in First Aid, CPR, Food Handlers, Behavior Supports, SOAR (restraint training), and hands-on training with the people we support.

What is the rate of pay, and are there benefits? Starting wages are $8.00 an hour and increase to $8.50 after training is completed. We offer tuition reimbursement and 401K retirement plans to qualified employees. After one year of full-time employment, employees are eligible for health insurance, sick leave, and paid vacation. |
Where are job sites located?
CTA is based in Salt Lake City, Utah and currently provides services in 22 programs in the Salt Lake area and in Davis county.

You will be required to pass a Pre-Employment test, administered when you submit your application.
