CTA provides a variety of services, including Residential Support, After-School Family Support, Day Supports, and Behavior Supports.

Residential Supports

  • Provides each person support on a 24-hour basis, including holidays and weekends
  • Typically people in this program live with one to three other roommates
  • CTA staffs and manages each of these homes

The goal of Residential Support is to help strengthen social interaction skills, community skills, independent living, and self-help skills.

CTA understands the difficulties parents encounter while raising a child with disabilities. Our programs provide the structure and consistency your child needs to be successful. CTA strongly encourages parental involvement, and parents contribute in the development of support plans and intervention strategies.

Autism Support Alternatives Program

  • Provided for families with a child living at home who has disabilities
  • Based on the needs and preferences of each person
  • Can assist parents in learning about developmental delay, behavior intervention, parent and sibling training, and social skills training

The goal of ASAP is to make a positive difference in the lives of each family member

Day Supports

  • Focuses on finding and assisting people with opportunities to contribute to their community in a variety of businesses and community locations
  • Encompasses two separate programs: Supported Employment and Extended Residential

Through Supported Employment, CTA staff assist the people we support in finding and maintaining a job based on preferences and skills.

Extended Residential is designed to support people in residential programs who do not work. These supports often include volunteering, which provides meaningful social interactions in the community.

Behavior Supports

Behavior Support plans provide CTA staff with the tools they need to be successful in supporting our clients. CTA has an excellent behavior support team with many years of experience providing behavioral support and interventions. Tools we focus on are positive reinforcement and teaching replacement behaviors.

By teaching Behavior Support tools to our direct support staff, CTA has excellent success in reducing the occurrence of inappropriate behaviors.
